Sports enthusiast? Communicative? Do you enjoy dealing with people who share your passion for sport? Curious? Then come and join us!
THESE are your tasks as Betting shop employee:
Our sports-loving employees in the branches look after and advise our customers with enthusiasm. They register bets at the counter, explain current promotions, daily and weekly offers, take care of everything regarding member cards and are always happy to help and advice on how to use the equipment. Of course, compliance with legal requirements is also part of their job.
„With a confident and friendly attitude, you get a lot of positive feedback from our customers and that’s really fun!“
A tidy and clean business store is our calling card. It is important that all screens and terminals are in proper working condition and that any defects are reported to the head office for rectification. Our employees ensure a feel-good atmosphere in our stores every day.
„Being responsible for working in a pleasant environment … I’m happy to take a broom in my hand!“
Some stores are equipped with a small gastronomic offer. This requires little specialist knowledge, just a willingness to learn as well as commitment and ambition. Of course, experience as a waiter is not a disadvantage.
„Our customers appreciate being able to watch live games with drinks and snacks. This supports the emotional atmosphere when betting!“
.. must also be done, that includes light cashier work, reporting visits of authorities to the headquarter, printing out offers, preparing writing material, etc.
„Extensive training courses on the topics of sports betting, legal principles (player protection, protection of minors, etc.), money laundering, first aid and much more provide interesting specialist knowledge and also keep the team together!“
We are open all week from midday until late at night, which entails shift, weekend and public holiday work and a certain flexibility in working hours. An early duty roster is therefore important.
Our store employees proudly wear their smart work clothes provided by the company.
Sunday, public holiday and night bonuses as well as overtime payment complement an attractive salary. We naturally have additional benefits within the group to offer. Our passionate multicultural team makes a significant contribution to the company’s success!
Leo is a branch manager in our Praterstraße betting shop.
„I’ve been doing my dream job since 2017! I’m passionate about sport, enjoy being around people and can work largely independently here… it doesn’t actually feel like work at all …
As a career changer, I took the opportunity back then and now I am a branch manager. Who would have thought that 😀?“!
Our environment is dynamic and changes quickly. Targeted further training therefore supports you in your daily tasks and in always finding the best possible solution for our customers on your own responsibility.
Our salaries are fair and competitive and are above the collective agreement. Our employees also receive a food voucher.
We are part of the internationally active MERKUR GROUP and therefore offer the advantages of a medium-sized company that can operate independently and yet has the security of a large group.
We look after you! We will provide you with our duty rosters well in advance so that you can plan your private appointments and leisure activities well. We are also happy to take into account future free periods and your individual vacation planning when scheduling.
Friendly interaction and fun: Just as important as good performance and a common sense of achievements, regular joint celebrations are also part of our company’s success.
We have shops in 5 federal provinces. Please let us know which store you are interested in.
Bregenz, Dornbirn, Hohenems, Linz, Steyr, Traun, Wels, Mödling, Wiener Neustadt, Eisenstadt and in several districts in Vienna.
